Alison Pill

Pill began her film career as a performer in Canada But it wasn't until only a few years later she made her first appearance in the American film industry. The most notable of these appearances was an episode from the Canadian show Traders in which she starred Bruce Gray. Pill was offered a part on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starring Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, and Michael Ensign, in the episode "Would If, Maybe, But Shoulda", co-written and starred with Naren Shakar. Following her appearance in Picard, Pill appeared in one of the major roles in the highly acclaimed science fiction miniseries Devs (served by the digital Double Negative, a VFX firm Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, just like her role in Picard as well, she appeared in each episode, acting in a nearly identical role as the scientist "Katie". Its resemblance with Picard didn't end there. As revealed earlier in that same year, the principal theme of the show was around the preservation of consciousness inside an artificial creation. That was also true in the case of Data as well. Alison Alison Alison
