Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining lots of attention. Calvano originates from California and initially was fascinated by gymnastics. She later chose to make a move acting. Her first screen appearance was the 2010 episode of CBS's 'NCIS. The actress made her debut on the big screen a year after on the Biographical Drama film "J Edgar". She has become one of today's most promising actresses over the last few years. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance which was nominated for the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance of a TV Series that features the appearance of a guest Actress between the ages of 11-15. In 2013, in recognition of a guest role in Disney XD's 'Kickin' It comedy show, she received another nomination for a Young Artist Award. Calvano was one of the principal cast members of the show's first three seasons and made several appearances in the fourth season. The actress won the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star, thanks to her role in 'Mom.
